John Whitlock has been working in Fire science and Technology since 1980, and previously worked in Acoustics and Instrumentation technology.
He joined the Commonwealth Experimental Building Station
at North Ryde on Decimal Currency Day (14 February 1966).
Having weathered the many name changes of the site, he left CSIRO's Division of Building, Construction and Engineering in December 1997.
