Born 1948 in Sydney.
She has been a professional exhibiting artist since 1979,
She works on paper in watercolour, pen and ink, pencil and makes marbled prints in oil paint. Judy has had 10 solo exhibitions and been involved in many joint and mixed shows, including ones with her mother, son and daughter.
She travels extensively throughout Australia collecting material for her work, the subjects mostly being those of the Wilderness - the Outback, Fraser Island, Tasmania and the Snowy Mountains.
Judy has had 10 solo exhibitions and been involved in many joint and mixed shows, including ones with her mother, son and daughter. She has recently had a photo-essay published in Singapore.
Her work is on exhibition in commercial galleries and in private collections in Australia, USA, Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, South Africa, England and Europe.
She plays violin with the Balmain Sinfonia, is studying Chinese, carves name chops and is working on a book, "Is there Woolworths in Kalgoorlie?".
Judy conducts individual classes in
a variety of media and organises Plein Air Workshops for small groups.
